FC Bayern is reportedly looking to bring in an external goalkeeper to serve as the number two, anticipating the retirements of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich next year. According to ‘Sky’, Fabian Bredlow has been presented as an option to the club.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper, currently with VfB Stuttgart and in the final year of his contract, is reportedly open to a backup role similar to his current position. ‘Sky’ indicates that while Bredlow, a former German youth international, matches the profile Bayern is seeking, the Munich club has not yet acted on the offer and is evaluating other potential candidates.
Bredlow transferred to Stuttgart in July 2019, and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €1.00 million.
